What To Expect: The Hiring Process
- You Applied!
Received applications are typically pre-screened within 24 hours. Applications that meet the minimum requirements listed on the job description will pass pre-screening.
Are you wondering where you are in the process? Check the status of your submitted applications in the portal, sign in HERE.
- Application Review
Applications that pass the pre-screening process will be sent to the hiring department for further review.
The hiring department will select the best qualified candidates and reach out to schedule interviews. Depending on the position, multiple rounds of interviews may be necessary.
- Interview
If you are selected for an interview, come prepared to speak on your experience and why you feel you would be the right candidate for the job.
CFPUA participates in behavioral-based interviewing.
Interviews are typically conducted by an interview panel consisting of the hiring manager, a second member from the hiring department, and a member of another department.

Congrats! You got the job!
If you are the selected candidate, Human Resources will contact you to make the offer.
Offers are conditional on successfully completing a background check, education verification, drug screen and new-hire paperwork.
